I love coffee

Thanks for stopping by! My name is Joe and I love coffee. I am by no means a coffee expert but I do really love to brew it and drink it! This blog is just a place to share my love a coffee with you.

Some key things about my coffee experience: 

Folgers and Starbucks 

I started off by drinking Folgers. Folgers was the best part of waking up after all! At least it was until I discovered a coffee shop called Starbucks. Starbucks was unlike anything I had ever experienced before! I absolutely loved the coffee bar and how the barista would talk to you as they made your espresso drink. The coffee was a lot stronger but, as was explained to me by the barista in a "coffee tasting", was easily 10 times better. 

Coffee Love Emerges

Then came a long smaller specialty coffee shops who starting doing something similar to Starbucks but with more intimacy. They roasted the coffee right there in the shop and the owner would take the time to talk with me over a cup of my favorite cup of joe. At this point in my journey I started learning things like where coffee comes from, how it is sourced, why certain flavors exist because of factors like soil, altitude, and bean type. My mind was getting blown to say the least.

At this point in my coffee journey I am still in the place of learning and I think I always will be. I really just want to share my experiences with you and hopefully you can draw something of value from that.
